The CCG conducted its Big Care Debate 2 between the end of January and 30 April 2016, engaging widely with local communities in order to find out peoples’ views on their experiences of accessing services.
The CCG decided not to progress further with proposals for this.
North East Essex (NEECCG) and Mid Essex (MECCG) Clinical Commissioning Groups ran a period of public engagement on the review of the Vision Training Clinic from the 6th May 2016 to the 13th June 2016.
Following the Big Care Debate 2, Neurology was identified as a priority area one of the priority area as the CCG recognised that it could make a real positive impact on patient lives and their ability to self-manage and care.
During July 2016, the CCG conducted a public engagement exercise in order to understand people’s views on the way dermatology services are provided across Colchester and Tendring to ensure the services meet their future needs when the CCG re-procured during 2017.
During July 2016, the CCG developed a draft primary care strategy aimed at outlining some of the ways we could achieve our vision of providing quality care that meet people’s needs - the engagement for this strategy started on 29 July 2016.
The CCG consulted on the Care Closer to Home and Urgent Care proposals between December 2014 and February 2015.
As a result of the growing demand for maternity services in North East Essex, the Clinical Commissioning Group and Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust conducted a consultation exercise in October of 2014 to provide both the public and healthcare workers the opportunity to influence decision making process on the future of maternity services in the region.
