Which NHS service do I need?

There are a range of services available in north east Essex. Making sure you access the most suitable service can help us get you the help you need, faster.

Your GP is your first port of call for on-going illnesses or injuries.

However, remember you can treat a range of common illnesses and at home simply by combining a well-stocked medicine cabinet with plenty of rest.

Your pharmacist may also be able to help. Pharmacists don't just dispense prescriptions. They are health care professionals who can provide advice and treatment for common illnesses and conditions such as diarrhoea, fever, headache, sore throat, cough, upset stomach, skin conditions and more.
