North East Essex CCG has appointed the management of Ranworth Surgery to deliver GP services on a 12 month caretaker basis at four practice sites in the Clacton area.
The provision commences on 1 February 2020.
The CCG has written to patients and explained that there will be no changes to services and that they should access these in the usual way.
Dr Ed Garratt, Chief Executive of the North East Essex CCG, said: “I would like to thank Anglian Community Enterprise (ACE) for all their hard work providing primary care services to local people across the Clacton area over the last 18 years. We are pleased to have appointed Ranworth Surgery to act as caretaker provider to run these services for the next 12 months and the CCG is working with ACE and the new provider to ensure there is a smooth and safe transition. I would also like to reassure patients of these surgeries that there will be no disruption to services.”
Dr Garratt added: “We are committed to providing accessible services to the local people we serve that meets their needs in a timely way. I would also encourage people to feedback their experiences of our new caretaker provider by contacting our PALS service at the North East Essex CCG on 01206-918730 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.”
